Chryssa Vos Vanilyn
Chryssa is 26, and moved to Seattle from Detroit a little over a year ago, after a short stay in Phoenix where she attended MMI. Low funds brought her to Seattle for Lake Washington Technical College's Harley tech program. In the first two weeks, she was told to do an industry visit, upon which she walked into Psycho Cycles, formerly Felony Flyers, and was offered an apprenticeship with Steg Von Heintz. Learning hands on was more appealing, so she dropped out of school that day to learn from a pro who already had a famous standing in the industry. Previous to leaving Michigan, she earned a bachelors in Creative Writing and Music Performance from Western Michigan University. She works part-time at night as a supervisor for UPS, and has been with the company for seven years. She bought her first bike when she was 22, for $500 that she borrowed from five different friends. An 81 Suzuki GN400, single cylinder kick start that left her stranded a lot. Keeping it running started as a necessity and has become a passion. She now rides a 92 Sportster 1200.
Jackie Gregory
Jaclyn Gregory earned her motorcycle-endorsement in 1985, and has been breaking and fixing and breaking and fixing them again since that time. Jackie sucessfully completed a state-certified, 4-year apprenticeship program as a "marine machinery mechanic" in 1990; that is the extent of her formal training. She earned a Class3, Type D NHRA-license in 2004, and currently competes in the Northwest (Division6) on a heavily-modified Suzuki GSXR-based motorcycle. Jackie is also the senior technician at Puget Sound Motorcycles in Tacoma, WA and enjoys riding her (also modified) Suzuki Bandit. Jackie and her Bandit were awarded top honors at the First Annual Ladies' Bike Show this past August.
Eli Allison
Eli Allison has always had a passion for cars and fixing things, and has been working in the automotive industry for 3 years. Eli has a degree in Automotive Science, graduated with honors, and is also ASE certified in Electrical/Electronic Systems, ASE Certified in Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling, Washington State Emission Specialist Certified, and a Certified Volkswagen Mechanic.
Eli has recently begun to apply this extensive knowledge base with motorcycles.
We are excited to have Eli on board as are newest “Crew” member.

Rachel Petrinovich
Rachel has been riding since she was 8 years old, when her dad presented her with a Honda 50cc street bike. Keeping it running was a challenge after years of beating it up and down the desert hills of Nevada. There was no climb too big, no jump too high! When she was a teen, she moved to Washington and with the help of Lockrem’s Cycle Barn in La Conner, she rode anything she could afford to get her hands on. After years of riding different “Franken-bikes” (motorcycles that were running with parts from several different machines), she got her chance to do a full frame up build – a ’67 Sportster. With the help of her buddy, Grizz, she got the Sporty going and rode it for several years. After moving to Everett, Rachel got a V-Star 1100 and has spent the last couple of years customizing and modifying it. During the customization process, she’s met a whole new community of women riders and realized that there are a lot of women who know how to wrench! She also found there were many women who weren’t enjoying riding as much as they could, because their bikes weren’t set up comfortably or they lacked the skills and confidence to get the most out of their bikes. Rachel founded Brave Betties, a company that is designed specifically to help the beginning/intermediate female rider gain the knowledge they need to really enjoy the riding experience. www.BraveBetties.com
Rebecca Froehling
Rebecca has been working on engines since she was about 5, started riding then too. Started going out to the track in the seventies, to “help and watch”. "I started racing down the track myself in 2000. I raced my shovelhead, which I built in my teens, then I progressed from there. I am one of the 3 women in the world to race nitro. When I was married, my husband and I owned and operated Sumner Motorcycles. Did that for about 8 years. Still do work on the side. I was a student at Bates from 2002 to 2004, and now currently teach the high school program at Bates Technical College. My street ride is a 1999 Electra Glide with a 107” motor in it. Put that in last year. Love it. Still ride all the time!
Corky Davis
Corky Davis has been a motorcyclist since 1972, and participated in Grand Prix races in the early ‘70’s. In the mid 80's Corky was also instrumental in organizing the women's only motorcycle club Leather & Lace in Cali along with long time friend Dayna.
Corky has pursued her love for motorcycles by attending Bates Technical College, where she graduated with a certificate in Motorcycle Service & Repair in 1995.
She continues to gain knowledge from other women mechanics and use her skills to work on her own motorcycles as well as teaching and assisting other women riders with their projects.
She hopes to encourage and inspire all ages of women to enter the non-traditional field of motorcycle mechanics and technicians, as well as any future do-it-yourselfers in the community.
